Grease
Book, Music and Lyrics by
Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey
with additional Songs by John
Farrar
January 28 - March 5, 2005
Grease is the word! BRT will
open its fifth season with the first locally produced, professional
production of Jim Jacobs' and Warren Casey's Grease. A
high-energy, nostalgic romp through the late 1950s, Grease
is the modern-classic tale of girl gets boy, girl loses boy,
and with the help of some skin-tight pedal-pushers, girl gets
boy again. Suitable for all ages, this production will include
all the favorite Grease tunes, including those penned
by John Farrar for the 1978 film version ("Hopelessly
Devoted to You" and "You're The One That I Want").
Directed by Lewis Kempfer
Musical Direction by Jamey Green
Choreography by Lori Ellis
Costume Design by Cat Eberwine
Starring Dan Whorton as Danny, Laura
Thomas as Sandy, J. Dietz Osborne as Kenickie, Lori Ellis
(star of BRT's Chicago and Gypsy) as Rizzo,

and Nick DeNuzio as Sonny. Featuring Lauri Bright as Patty
