My Fair Lady
Book, Music & Lyrics by
Alan Jay
Lerner and Frederick Loewe
February 6 - March 7, 2009
This show is the standard by which
all others are measured. Henry Higgins, a Professor of
Phonetics, takes on the challenge
of transforming Eliza Doolittle, a common cockney flower
girl, into a duchess. Over the course of several months Eliza
is put through a gruelling course of phonetics and elocution
lessons by Higgins until she triumphs as a well-spoken and
beautiful lady. With beloved songs including "Wouldn't
It Be Loverly?," "The Rain in Spain," "I
Could Have Danced All Night," "On the Street
Where You Live," and "I've Grown Accustomed
to Her Face” it's no wonder everyone -- not
just Henry Higgins -- falls in love with Eliza Doolittle.
A special Valentine's Day show will
be offered on Saturday, Feb. 14. Each ticket includes a
special dessert buffet and other goodies and give-a-ways!
